Landon Wilson is an emerging curator and creative producer whose practice explores embodied and collective memory, institutional critique, and music-making. Working at the intersection of public and performative space, his projects often unfold through theatrical forms, site-responsive activations, and collaborative processes.
Recent work includes COUNTERTENOR with Anthony Roth Costanzo and Sissel Tolaas at National Sawdust, Brooklyn, and stARTfestival, Germany; Living Room: Orlean, Virginia with Davóne Tines, Hugh Hayden, Zack Winokur, and special guests including Yo-Yo Ma at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Triennial, New York; Two eggs, over easy… with Diki Luckerson and Júlia Standovár at TOBE Gallery and DOXA, Budapest; where there’s an outside there’s also an inside with the Common Thread Experiment at MOM ART SPACE, Hamburg; From the Cosmos to the Commons, Stadtkuratorin Hamburg, Germany; AMOC* in performance at Hauser & Wirth, New York; and the 79th Ojai Music Festival with Claire Chase, California.
Landon recently completed his undergraduate degree at the Manhattan School of Music (B.M., Classical Piano) and postbaccalaureate studies at Columbia University (non-deg., Art History & Musicology). He is an incoming graduate student at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, and is based in New York City.
