Tàimakoo e.V. (Association for International Understanding) since 2011 supports migrants in the district of Harburg, advices and accompanies them in their integration. They offer volunteer language courses, an international women's café, and a meeting for children and young people where they could get creative on various topics. By teaching the German language, Tàimakoo e.V. makes an important contribution to permanently improving the lives of people with a migrant background. The term “Tàimakoo” comes from the Hausa language in West Africa and means “help/support,” representing the assosiation's values.
