The Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof is conceived as a forum for the critical investigation of the results of current artistic production. The institution pursues an independent exhibition concept deliberately focusing on the experimental art of the twenty-first century. Its intention in doing so is to provide persons interested in art the opportunity to experience an artistic program whose continuity is founded in innovation. It moreover offers artists a chance to investigate new contents and forms beyond the boundaries of the established art world, and to present them to a broad public.
